Protestants: Why do you ordain married men?

I think you have two ideas confused. Men who are going to commit immoral acts are going to do so, regardless of what they do as a profession. We ordain married men because they are called by God to do His bidding. When Christ gave us the Great Commission (go into all the world and preach the Gospel), He placed no boundaries. He didn't say ONLY if you are unmarried, male, tall, blond and weigh more than 150 pounds........ He gave this commission to every believer. Some become missionaries or evangelists, others quietly witness to people they work with. How each individual obeys is between him and God. I don't think I am in any position to tell another person how he should serve God.If he feels the call of God upon his life to be a minister, then it is up to him to live that out. The same with his other actions. He will have to answer for them. I have enough of my own sins to bear. Sure some of them abuse their station. But that is true of all professions. It isn't right in any of them. And when the celibate pastors are pure, I'll believe that all pastors should be unmarried. However, in view of all the "celebate" child molesters in the catholic church.......
